Spicy Trail Mix
Christmas Pecan/Chex Mix
Ingredients
| 1 | Box | Wheat Chex Cereal
| | 1 | Box | Rice Chex Cereal
| | 1/2 | Bag | small pretzel sticks
| | 2 | small | cans\ planters salted peanuts
| | 1 | pound | pecan halves
| |
| | | | 1 | cup | wesson vegetable oil
| | 1-3/4 | sticks | butter
| | 4 | Tablespoons | worcestershire sauce
| | 3 | Tablespoons | Garlic Salt
| | 3 | Tablespoons | Celery Salt
| | 3 | Tablespoons | Tobasco Sauce
| | | | Pinch of Paprika

Mix Oil, butter and seasonings. Heat in saucepan to just a simmer. Remove from heat and pour over all the dry ingredients. Mix well. Pour into large broiler pans or casserole pans. Bake one hour in 225 degree oven - stirring every 15 minutes. Cool completely and store in air tight comtainer.
If you need a little hotter, add more tobasco. Can also add some cheerios to this mix and more nuts if desired. Happy munching!!!!
