How to have an easy dinner party and impress your guests!!
Ingredients
| 8 | | country style pork ribs
| | 3 | Tablespoons | peanut oil
| | 1 | Large | yellow onion, peeled and chopped
| | 2 | | Green Peppers,chopped
| | 1 | | Red pepper, chopped
| | 3 | | Cloves garlic, minced
| | 5 | | Ribs celery, chopped
| | 8 | | Green onions, chopped
| | 1 | Large | can whole tomatoes, crushed
| | 3-1/2 | cups | chicken stock
| | 1 | Pound | Sliced smoked sausage
| | 1-1/2 | cups | diced cooked ham
| | 1 | Pound | Shrimp, shelled
| | 3 | Tablespoons | chopped parsley
| | 2 | teaspoons | hot sauce
| | 1/4 | cup | Worcestershire sauce
| | 1 | teaspoon | whole thyme leaves
| | | Freshly ground black pepper
| | 2 | cups | uncooked rice

Brown ribs on rack in a 400 degree oven 30 - 40 minutes. Meanwhile, add oil to large skillet and saute onions, green peppers, red peppers, garlic and celery until tender. Place vegetables in large stock pot with tomatoes and chicken stock. Simmer 45 minutes - 1 hour. Pan fry sausage until just brown. Add remaining ingredients except sausage and rice. Simmer covered 20 minutes. Add sausage and rice; simmer an additional 20 - 30 minutes.
Serves 8 people. Yummy!!!
