Hot Chicken Salad
This recipe was really popular in Northern Indiana and was used at many charity lunchions. Try it - it is GREAT!!
Ingredients
| 3 | cups | cooked boned chicken
| | 2 | cups | celery - diced
| | 1 | can | water chestnuts, sliced
| | 3 | Tablesp. | lemon juice
| | 1 | can | cream chicken soup
| | 3/4 | cup | salad dressing (miracle whip)
| | 3 | hard-cooked | eggs, sliced
| | 1 | small | onion - grated
| | 1/2 | teasp. | salt
| | 1/2 | cup | toasted almonds
| | 1/2 | cup | American cheesse, grated
| | 1/2 | cup | crushed potato chips

Combine all ingredients except potato chips and place in casserole. Top with crushed chips and bake in a 350 degree oven for 1/2 hour.
